my last blog was titled "think happy thoughts."
well it only works for so long and then you read some disturbing article
in the paper about child abuse. these poor little toddlers. the horrible
life they have had to go through and they are only 2. it breaks my heart.
when reading this you go through all sorts of emotions: anger, sadness,
rage, hopelessness, curiosity. what can i do? how can we change, prevent
or help these little kids. they have NO choice, no voice, nothing. they rely
on their parents who brought them into this world for love, support and health.
and they are betrayed.
what saved these little girls was a man. a man who had the courage to intervene.
to make a stand and act as a voice for these precious little girls, because they had none.
i guess this is my "aw-ha moment"... there has to be something i can do.
