I can not believe that Easter is only one week away. We colored eggs with Grandma yesterday. Karter had a blast! The holidays are so much more fun with kiddos. His face just lights up when experiencing all the new things. He just keeps saying "the Easter bunny is visiting Trent and my house."
So cute!
I am doing what my dad did for me when I was little. He cut out little bunny paw prints and lead them to my Easter basket. It was one of my favorite and best memories with him. He passed on April 23rd, so it will be a nice tradition to start in his memory.

ReplyDeleteHello xx My name is Karen Lang and I found your post when I was showing a friend my family blog 'the lovely langs' I thought I would say "hello" and "Happy Easter" to you and your little Lang family xx I think continuing traditions like your bunny prints keeps the memories alive of the people that can't be with us any more, whist creating new ones for our little ones - what a wonderful gift xx We have found it comforting and fun to do things like this since my Dad died a couple of years ago. I'm sure that they will both be sat on a cloud at Easter looking down, smiling at the traditions that they started and will continue for so many more years xx
